The Mountains

I was able to spend some time in the mountains of North Carolina last week. It was perfect timing since Asheville received 4 inches of snow while we were there. It was so cold, several times I couldn't feel my fingers and had to rely on muscle memory to press the shutter button on my camera. It was totally worth it though and the triple espresso from Double Decker Coffee Co. in Asheville warmed me up enough.

While hiking in the Fracis Beidler forest, on my surprise birthday excursion organize by Liz, we saw this cool cotton field and had to stop for a couple of shots.
